The Zard decat header pipe for the BMW R 1300 GS , available in titanium or stainless steel, is compatible with the standard exhausts or can be combined with the Zard Slip-on, representing the ideal choice to enhance the performance of the bike. The Zard decat pipe comes with the HEALTECH ® exhaust system servomotor eliminator  for better performance and to eliminate the FI warning light.

Handcrafted in Italy with high-quality raw materials, it is extremely light ( -4.75 kg for the titanium version and -3.7 kg for the stainless steel version compared to the standard catalytic converter) and is essential to improve engine performance ( +3 hp if combined with a standard exhaust, +6.4 hp when associated with a Zard exhaust, compared to the standard silencer). The combination of the decatalytic converter and the Slip-on creates a unique Zard style sound.

Thanks to the combined development of the complete exhaust system, decatalyst + slip-on, there is a further increase in performance, +5.7 hp  for the approved version and  +6.4 hp for the racing version compared to the standard combination.

Note: The decatalyst manifold includes the HEALTECH ® ESE-BM1 exhaust valve excluder  which  eliminates the error signal in the ECU.

Warning : Following the installation of the decatalyzed Zard manifold, the electronics of the motorcycle in E5 Plus configuration could detect an anomaly in the catalytic converter due to anti-pollution regulations, which causes the cat (information) light to come on, without altering the performance of the motorcycle in any way . To avoid the activation of this light, it is necessary to remap the control unit.

The Zard exhaust system line for the new BMW R 1300 GS aims to substantially improve the performance of the motorcycle, paying particular attention to the design of the terminal that enhances the clean lines of the bike.

The result of the collaboration between the R&D department and the Zard Style Center, the line is composed of a silencer in a Euro 5 approved version and a racing version in titanium, both equipped with a carbon fiber end cap and heat shield. The silencer is lightweight ( -0.8 kg for the Euro 5 approved version and -0.9 kg for the racing version compared to the standard silencer) and helps increase engine performance ( +1.8 hp for the approved version and +2.5 hp for the racing version compared to the standard silencer), giving the bike the distinctive Zard sound.
