NEBO EINSTEIN 750 LUMEN LED HEAD TORCH

The Einstein 750 is a part of Nebo's new line of head torches, named after the famous physicist Einstein!

The dual white LEDs output a bright beam of 750 lumens on the turbo output, which is designed as a boost setting, allowing 30 seconds output at a time in order to prevent the temperature of the torch becoming too high and thus protecting the LED. The high output is a constant setting of 250 lumens with a run-time of 5 hours, and mid, low and red outputs are also available.

 Red light is useful for night reading, animal spotting, and preserving night vision, and the flashing red light is good for attracting attention, making it useful for in the car or on camping trips. A separate red LED sits in the middle of the white LEDs and can be directly accessed so that all-important night vision is not disturbed.

Technical Description

Operation is easy with the single easy push button on the top of the headlight. With each press of the power button the Einstein 750 cycles through high, mid, low, red and off. If the torch is in any mode for longer than 8 seconds then the next press will turn the light off rather than cycling through the modes.

Turbo is activated by holding down the power button when the light is on and will last for 30 seconds before reverting to the previous mode, or quicker by pressing the button again. Direct access to red is achieved by holding down the button while the light is off, and then if desired each press within 8 seconds will cycle through the modes backward.

It is powered by 4 x AAA alkaline batteries, which sit in the rear battery compartment on the back of the headband, and are easily sourced and can be replaced with ease. The hinged bracket allows the torch to be rotated within a 60° angle to direct the beam where you need it.
